- 1 pound Rotini pasta |
- 2 tablespoons olive oil |
- 4 cloves garlic, minced |
- 1 onion, finely chopped |
- 1 bell pepper, diced |
- 1 cup shredded cabbage , (optional) |
- 2 cup premade French onion pasta sauce. |
- 1/2 cup black olives, sliced (optional) |
- 1/2 cup heavy cream |
- 1/2 cup butter |
-1/4 cup mayonnaise |
- Salt and pepper to taste |
- Fresh basil leaves for garnish (optional) |
Instructions:- |
1. Cook Rotini pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside. |
2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and chopped onion, sauté until fragrant. |
3. Add French onion pasta sauce, diced bell pepper, shredded cabbage, and black olives to the skillet. |
4. Pour in heavy cream and stir well. Let it simmer for a few minutes. |
5. Add the cooked Rotini pasta to the skillet and toss to coat the pasta with the cream and vegetables and pasta sauce. Add mayonnaise and mix well. |
6. Stir in butter until melted and well combined. Season with salt and pepper to taste. |
