Huma’s Bread Malpua for 3 people: Total Active time -15 min ✨💕👩🍳
| - 3 slices of bread |
| - Oil or ghee for frying |
| - 1 cup water |
| - 1 cup sugar |
| - 4-5 cardamom pods, crushed |
| - A pinch of saffron |
| - Store-bought rabri |
| - Sliced almonds and pistachios for garnish |
Instructions:- |
| 1. Cut the bread slices into small pieces. Or leave them as is! |
| 2. Heat oil or ghee in a pan and fry the bread pieces until they turn golden brown. Remove and set aside. |
| 3. In a separate pan, combine water, sugar, crushed cardamom pods, and saffron. Bring to a boil and let it simmer for 5-7 minutes to make a sugar syrup. Set the syrup aside. |
| 4. Once the sugar syrup is ready, soak the fried bread pieces in the sugar syrup for a few minutes. |
| 5. Place the soaked bread pieces on serving plates. |
| 6. Top the soaked bread pieces with store-bought rabri. |
| 7. Garnish with sliced almonds and pistachios. |
| 8. Serve the Bread Malpua warm and enjoy! |
