Huma’s Kashmiri Pink Chai …

This chai which I’ve learnt after atleast 4 failures in the past as I wanted that perfect pink tea color and there is a lot of hardwork, dedication and trick to achieve it ! But once you learn you become a master of the trade ✨💕

Ingredients:-
- 4 cups water
- 4 cups milk warm
- 4-6 green cardamom pods
- 4-6 cloves
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 4-6 strands of saffron
- 4 tablespoons loose black tea leaves
- 4 tablespoons sugar (adjust to taste)
- A few drops of rose water
- Chopped almonds and pistachios for garnish

Instructions:-
1. In a saucepan, bring water to a boil.
2. Add cardamom pods, cloves, cinnamon stick, and saffron strands to the water.
3. Lower the heat and let it simmer for a few minutes to infuse the flavors.
4. Add the loose black tea leaves boil and simmer until it reduces to half.
5. Add cold water to the mixture in the saucepan and again boil and simmer until it reduces by half.
6. Repeat step 5 one more time same way.
7. Now add the warm milk and bring the mixture to a boil.
8. Reduce heat and let it simmer for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
9. Add sugar and rose water, stirring until the sugar dissolves.
10. Strain the tea into cups or a teapot.
11. Garnish with chopped almonds and pistachios.
12. Serve hot and enjoy your delicious Pink Kashmiri Tea!
