2. Heat Oil: |
- Heat vegetable oil in a deep pot to 350°F (175°C). |
3. Fry Zeppoles: |
- Drop small spoonfuls of dough into the hot oil. |
- Fry for 2-3 minutes until golden brown, flipping halfway. |
4. Drain and Coat: |
- Remove zeppoles and place them on paper towels to drain. |
- Roll them in 1/2 cup sugar while warm. |
5. Serve: |
