Huma’s Air Fryer Whole Rotisserie Chicken

Ingredients:-
1. Whole Chicken - 3 to 4 pounds
2. Lemon Pepper Seasoning - 2 tablespoons
3. Garlic - 4 cloves, minced
4. Butter or Olive Oil - 4 tablespoons (melted if using butter)
5. Lemon - 1, juiced
6. Salt - 1 teaspoon (optional, adjust to taste)
7. Black Pepper - 1 teaspoon
8. Fresh Herbs (optional, such as thyme or rosemary) - for added flavor

Instructions:-
1. Prepare the Marinade:
In a mixing bowl, combine the lemon pepper seasoning, minced garlic, melted butter (or olive oil), lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to create a paste.
2. Prep the Chicken:
Rinse the whole chicken under cold water and pat it dry with paper towels. Ensure the cavity is empty and any giblets are removed.
3. Marinate the Chicken:
Rub the marinade all over the chicken, making sure to get it under the skin and inside the cavity for maximum flavor. If using fresh herbs, place them inside the cavity for added aroma.
4. Preheat the Air Fryer:
Preheat your air fryer to 360°F (182°C) for about 5 minutes.
5. Cook the Chicken:
Place the marinated chicken in the air fryer basket, breast side down. Cook for 30 minutes.
6. Flip the Chicken:
After 30 minutes, carefully flip the chicken breast side up and continue cooking for an additional 20-30 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) in the thickest part of the thigh.
7. Rest the Chicken:
Once cooked, carefully remove the chicken from the air fryer and let it rest for about 10-15 minutes before carving. This allows the juices to redistribute for a moist chicken.
8. Serve:
