Huma’s Roasted Paneer Naan Pizza ✨💕👩🍳
1. 2 pieces of naan bread |
2. 1 cup marinara sauce or pizza sauce |
3. 1 cup paneer, cut into and inch size thin flat squares |
4. 1 tablespoon olive oil |
5. 1 teaspoon garam masala (or your preferred seasoning) |
6. 1 teaspoon red chili powder (adjust to taste) |
7. 1 1/2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded |
8. 1 small onion, thinly sliced (optional) |
9. Fresh cilantro or basil leaves for garnish |
10. Salt, to taste |
Instructions:- |
1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) if you plan to finish the pizza in the oven (optional step). If not you can use the stove. |
2. In a bowl, toss the cubed paneer with olive oil, garam masala, red chili powder, salt, and pepper. |
3. Spread the seasoned paneer on a baking sheet and roast in the preheated oven for about 10-15 minutes, or until golden and slightly crispy. Alternatively, you can sauté the paneer in a pan until golden if you are not using oven for this recipe. |
4. Heat a non-stick skillet or frying pan over medium heat. |
5. Place one piece of naan in the skillet. |
6. Spread a generous amount of marinara sauce evenly on top of the naan, leaving a small border around the edges. |
7. Sprinkle half of the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the sauce. |
8. Evenly distribute the roasted paneer on top of the cheese. |
9. If using, add sliced onions on top of the paneer. |
10. Top with the remaining mozzarella cheese. |
11. Cover the pan with a lid (or aluminum foil) to help the cheese melt. |
12. Cook on medium-low heat for about 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the naan is slightly crispy on the bottom. |
13. Once the cheese is melted, remove the lid and garnish with fresh cilantro or basil leaves. |
14. Carefully remove the pizza from the pan and place it on a cutting board. |
15. Slice and serve hot. |
16. Repeat the process with the second naan to make another pizza. Enjoy! |
