Huma’s Naan Pizza Margherita (stove top recipe)

Huma’s Naan Pizza Margherita (stove top recipe) ..✨💕👩‍🍳

Ingredients:-
1. 2 pieces of naan bread
2. 1 cup of marinara sauce or pizza sauce
3. 1 1/2 cups fresh mozzarella cheese (sliced or shredded)
4. 1-2 medium tomatoes (sliced, optional)
5. Fresh basil leaves
6. 2 tablespoons olive oil
7. Salt (to taste)
8. Freshly cracked black pepper (to taste)
9. Balsamic glaze (optional, for drizzling)
10. 1/2 chopped onion

Instructions:-
1. Heat a non-stick skillet or frying pan over medium heat.
2. Place one piece of naan in the preheated pan.
3. Spread a generous amount of marinara sauce evenly on top of the naan, leaving a small border around the edges.
4. Distribute the fresh mozzarella cheese evenly over the sauce.
5. If using, add the sliced tomatoes on top of the cheese along with chopped onion.
6. Sprinkle a pinch of salt and freshly cracked black pepper over the top.
7. Cover the pan with a lid (or aluminum foil) to help the cheese melt.
8. Cook on medium-low heat for about 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the naan is slightly crispy on the bottom.
9. Once the cheese is melted, remove the lid and add fresh basil leaves on top.
10. Cook for an additional minute or two, allowing the basil to wilt slightly.
11. Carefully remove the pizza from the pan and place it on a cutting board.
12. Drizzle with balsamic glaze if desired.
13. Slice and serve hot.
14. Repeat the process with the second naan to make another pizza. Enjoy!
