Huma’s 100% Whole Wheat Buns with Maska ✨💕🕊️ Parsi legacy especially in Mumbai.

Ingredients:-
- 4 cups whole wheat flour ( regular chapati aata)
- 1 packet dry active yeast
- 1 1/2 cups warm water
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- White butter for serving (maska)
-mix seeds for topping (optional)
-1 egg for coating (whisked)

Instructions:-
1. In a bowl, dissolve the yeast in warm water with a pinch of sugar and let it sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy.
2. Add honey, olive oil, and salt to the yeast mixture.
3. Gradually mix in the whole wheat flour until the dough comes together.
4. Knead the dough for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
5. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1-2 hours until doubled in size.
6. Punch down the dough and divide it into 12 equal portions.
7. Shape each portion into a bun and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or on a muffin tray. Brush it with whisk egg and mixed seeds.
8. Cover the buns and let them rise for another 30-45 minutes.
9. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
10. Bake the buns for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
11. Serve warm with white butter.
