Huma’s Qimami Seviyan

Huma’s Qimami Seviyan (Sweet Vermicelli) for 8 people: ✨💕👩‍🍳

Ingredients:-
- 250g vermicelli
- 1/2 cup ghee
- 8-10 green cardamoms, crushed
- 1/2 cup sugar (adjust to taste)
- 1/2 cup mixed dry fruits (almonds, cashews, pistachios, raisins)
- 1/4 cup khoya (optional)
- 1/2 tsp saffron strands
- 4 cups water

Instructions:-
1. Heat ghee in a pan and add crushed cardamoms. Saute for a minute until fragrant.
2. Add vermicelli and roast until golden brown.
3. In another pan, heat water and saffron strands. Let it simmer for a few minutes.
4. Pour the saffron-infused water over the roasted vermicelli. Cook until the vermicelli is tender.
5. Add sugar, khoya (if using), and mixed dry fruits. Mix well and cook for a few more minutes.
6. Once the sugar is dissolved and the mixture thickens slightly, turn off the heat.
7. Serve the Qimami Seviyan warm, garnished with more dry fruits if desired.
