Huma’s Braided Nutella Bread

Huma’s Braided Nutella Bread - yields two medium loaves ✨💕👩‍🍳

Ingredients:-
- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 2 1/4 tsp instant yeast
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 cup warm milk
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup Nutella (or as needed)
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Instructions:-
1. In a large bowl, combine 2 cups of flour, sugar, yeast, and salt. Mix well.
2. Add warm milk, eggs, and melted butter. Mix until well combined.
3. Gradually add the remaining flour until a soft dough forms.
4. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
5. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for 1-2 hours or until doubled in size.
6. Once risen, punch down the dough and divide it into two equal parts.
7. Roll out the dough into a large rectangle.
8. Spread Nutella generously over the rectangle.
9. Roll up the rectangle tightly, lengthwise, to form a long log.
10. Using a sharp knife, slice the log into two and roll each log lengthwise. Cut three slits on the log and braid like a hair braid.
11. Transfer the braided loaves to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
12. Cover with a damp cloth and let them rise for another 30-45 minutes.
13. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
14. Brush the loaves with beaten egg for a shiny finish. Sprinkle some sliced almonds if needed.
15. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
16. Let the loaves cool slightly before slicing and serving.
