Huma's Cauliflower (Gobhi) Steaks

Super easy to cook with very few ingredients and sooo good 🥰 excellent for low carb, paleo and keto diets! Chalo weight kam karo 😊

Ingredients:-
- 1 large cauliflower head
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons steak masala (any brand). Aap basic red chilly powder, dhaniya and garam masala bhi ke sakti hain. Mix it and use it instead of steak
- 1 teaspoon chaat masala
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:-
1. Preheat a skillet on medium heat. Meanwhile, remove the leaves from the cauliflower head and trim the stem to create a flat base. Carefully slice the cauliflower vertically into 1-inch thick steaks, ensuring they hold together.
2. In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, steak masala, chaat masala, dried oregano, salt, and pepper.
3. Brush both sides of each cauliflower steak generously with the masala mixture.
4. Place the cauliflower steaks in the preheated skillet and cook for about 10 min ( covered ) on low flame on each side and then on medium flame for 5 min or until they are golden brown and slightly charred.
5. Once the steaks are cooked through, sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese on top of each steak. Again cover the skillet with a lid and let the cheese melt for about 1-2 minutes.
6. Remove the cauliflower steaks from the skillet and transfer them to serving plates.
7. Garnish with a sprinkle of chaat masala and dried oregano. Or hara dhaniya bhi chalega ! 👩‍🍳
8. Serve the cauliflower steaks hot as a delightful vegetarian main course or as a side dish to complement your meal.
