| - 1 large cauliflower head |
| - 2 tablespoons olive oil |
| - 2 tablespoons steak masala (any brand). Aap basic red chilly powder, dhaniya and garam masala bhi ke sakti hain. Mix it and use it instead of steak |
| - 1 teaspoon chaat masala |
| - 1 teaspoon dried oregano |
| - 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese |
| - Salt and pepper to taste |
Instructions:- |
| 1. Preheat a skillet on medium heat. Meanwhile, remove the leaves from the cauliflower head and trim the stem to create a flat base. Carefully slice the cauliflower vertically into 1-inch thick steaks, ensuring they hold together. |
| 2. In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, steak masala, chaat masala, dried oregano, salt, and pepper. |
| 3. Brush both sides of each cauliflower steak generously with the masala mixture. |
| 4. Place the cauliflower steaks in the preheated skillet and cook for about 10 min ( covered ) on low flame on each side and then on medium flame for 5 min or until they are golden brown and slightly charred. |
| 5. Once the steaks are cooked through, sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese on top of each steak. Again cover the skillet with a lid and let the cheese melt for about 1-2 minutes. |
| 6. Remove the cauliflower steaks from the skillet and transfer them to serving plates. |
| 7. Garnish with a sprinkle of chaat masala and dried oregano. Or hara dhaniya bhi chalega ! 👩🍳 |
| 8. Serve the cauliflower steaks hot as a delightful vegetarian main course or as a side dish to complement your meal. |
