My parents have been suggesting that I should focus on posting healthy recipes on Huma’s Bhavarchi khana (the low carb, anti inflammatory, diabetic friendly, heart healthy) that I usually love to innovate and cook in order to shed the extra pounds. Let’s see how it goes though would still post gormet food whenever I make and feel excited about ✨
1. Paalak, methi (mix) - 2 or 3 bunches paalak, 1 bunch methi |
2. Garlic cloves - 5 |
3. Mustard oil - 2tsp |
4. Soya chunks - 3/4 cup boiled and squeezed |
5. Zeera - 1tsp |
6. Onion - 1/2 |
7. Salt to taste |
8. Keema masala or regular masalas (red chilly powder, dhaniya, haldi - mix 1tsp) |
Instructions:- |
1. In a shallow pan put all greens along with garlic and salt. Add a sprinkle of water. Let it cook for 10 min on very slow flame. It will steam! |
You can also do this in microwave! |
2. Boil the soya chunks until they enlarge and squeeze access water. Keep aside |
3. Now in a frying pan add oil, zeera, onion and sauté for 5 min. Add the steamed greens along with soya chunks. Add masala #8 and stir fry for 5-10 min. |
Serve with ragi roti (millet Roti) or brown rice and some yogurt (dahi) |
