- Juice of 1 lemon
- 2 tsp chaat masala
- Salt to taste
- 2 tsp garam masala
- 4 tbsp cream cheese spread
- 1 cup dahi (plain yogurt)
- Charcoal for smoking
- Ghee or oil for shallow frying

Instructions:-
1. *First Marination:*
- In a large bowl, mix the ginger garlic paste, lemon juice, chaat masala, and salt.
- In a large bowl, mix the ginger garlic paste, lemon juice, chaat masala, and salt.
- Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
2. *Second Marination:*
- In another bowl, mix garam masala, cream cheese spread, dahi, and salt.
3. Cooking step # 1
- Heat ghee or oil in a shallow pan over medium heat.
- Place the marinated drumsticks (after applying only first marination) in the pan and cook until they are golden brown and half cooked through, turning occasionally.
- Create a small well in the center of the pan and place a small bowl or foil filled with a piece of glowing charcoal. Pour a little ghee or oil over the charcoal and cover the pan immediately to infuse the drumsticks with a smoky flavor. Let it sit for 10 minutes.
After smoking, remove the charcoal and cool the drumsticks completely. Now cover the drumsticks with the second marination until it’s well coated on both sides and no liquid is dripping.
4. Cooking step # 2
- Cook the drumsticks on a direct flame on stove or gas turning occasionally, until they turn golden yummy brown.
Serving:
- Once cooked, transfer the Malai Tangri to a serving platter.
- Garnish with fresh coriander leaves, lemon wedges, and chaat masala if desired.
- Serve hot with naan, roti, or rice.
