Huma’s Jugaad Chai - using kullahad, brown sugar, milk, Lamsa tea, and Tajmahal tea:
- 2 cups water |
- 2-3 teaspoons Lamsa tea |
- 1-2 teaspoons Tajmahal tea |
- 2 cups milk |
- 2-3 tablespoons brown sugar (adjust to taste) |
Instructions:- |
1. In a utensil, bring 2 cups of water to a boil. |
2. Add Lamsa tea and Tajmahal tea to the boiling water. Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes to infuse the water with the tea's flavors. |
3. Add 2 cups of milk to the tea mixture and let it simmer for an additional 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally. |
4. Once the chai has reached your desired color and strength, add brown sugar to taste. Stir until the sugar is completely dissolved. |
5. Warm a clay cup on high heat. |
6. Place the warmed clay cup in another utensil. |
7. Carefully pour the prepared chai over the clay cup in the utensil to infuse the clay flavor. Cover for 5 min! |
This process allows the chai to have a subtle infusion of the clay flavor, adding an extra dimension to the traditional Desi Chai. |
Enjoy your aromatic and flavorful Jugaad chai and love your life ! ✨💕👩🍳 |
