- 1 cup sooji |
- 4 cups desiccated coconut |
- 2 cups monk fruit sugar - or you can take any other sugar free sweetener which is available. It’s better to use plant based organic sweetener! |
- 1 cup ghee |
- 4 cups mixed dry fruits (almonds, cashews, magaz, pistachios. Chop them unevenly! |
- 1/2 tsp saffron |
- 2 cups warm water |
- Edible Silver leaf for garnish |
- Green cardamoms |

Instructions:- |
1. In a pan, roast the sooji and green cardamoms until the sooji turns golden brown and aromatic. |
2. In a separate bowl, dissolve saffron in warm water. |
3. Add the saffron-infused water to the roasted sooji in the pan. Stir well. |
4. Add monk fruit sugar to the mixture and cook, stirring continuously, until it thickens slightly. |
5. Once the mixture thickens, add the desiccated coconut and mix well. Let it cook for a few more minutes. |
6. Add the mixed dry fruits (almonds, cashews, magaz, pistachios) to the mixture and combine thoroughly. |
7. Allow the mixture to cool until it's comfortable to handle. |
8. Once the mixture has cooled, take small portions and shape them into laddus by pressing and rolling them between your palms. |
9. Roll the laddus in desiccated coconut again if you like to coat them to look more pretty. |
10. Garnish the laddus with edible silver leaf. |
